Invited talk at the Data Science & Artificial Intelligence group at AstraZeneca (August 2022). I spoke about our recent work on using sequence-to-sequence models for end-to-end biomedical information extraction tasks [🛝 slides]
↪ Natural Language Processing and Transformers. I created and delivered a tutorial for the University of Toronto’s CSC413 Neural Networks and Deep Learning class (Winter 2022 & 2023). This tutorial focused on helping students build intuition about the Transformer architecture, and specifically the self-attention mechanism [🛝 slides]
